Thanks for  your papers, I  have looked into  them and going  to read
them in detail soon. As a first reaction I think I basicly agree with
the direction of your  ideas. I do not  think, however, that LISP  is
the real forest  itself ! Sure, it  is much closer to  be the forest,
than  machine  code and  the  majority  (may be  all)  of programming
languages, but  it still  contains  some concepts,  which are  rather
"implementation oriented"  (even if it  concerns a sort  of "abstract
implementation" like the choice of some special kinds of trees with a
LIFO-like  access,  to  represent data  structures).    For  a  really
educational (vs. training)  tool I would prefer an even more abstract
approach, where  concepts  concerning the  abstract contents  of  the
matter  can   be  very   precisely  distinguished  from   matters  of
implementation.   (What supposes an equally  good - and in some  sense
compatible -  practical programming  training to be  received by  the
students parallelly).  More remarks and may be some concretisation of
my ideas will come soon and I  would like very much to discuss  these
things with you. I am here usually in the afternoons in room 252C.
